Background tiles cannot be displayed in applets. Secure Image will display all JPG, GIF and Animated Gifs (Pro), but these systems are primarily meant for protecting "featured" images, ie: your artworks and not the page trim.

If background tiles and other page content needs to be protected, it doesn't need to be encrypted if you use Copysafe.
