What type of content can be used and what special treatments will be required to be compatible with the ArtistScope CD system?

For example my company already has their products catalogued on CD. What will we need to do to this content before sending for a CD master to be made?

The first thing to keep in mind is that your user will view your CD content using a Windows web browser.

So all you have to do is create web pages, and in doing this you can use any content that can be displayed using a normal web browser.

Are there any limitations to file size, etc?

Absolutely no limitation to file size or image proportions!

Unlike web content where one is always conscious of the download time of images and movies, because the content is already on the CD, the loading time is not an issue. It doesn't have to be downloaded!

So if you are preparing a portfolio of images for a photographer, they will not need to be limited to the usual 60-200 kb. They can be as large as 1-2 Mb if you like... that is if there is any advantage or gain in quality viewing in a web browser.

All the links on my web site use a full url. For example the link is in full as http://www.mySite.com - will this be ok?

Er, no! The links must be relative to the site root, which is where you will have your index/intro page. Remember that you are linking to pages locally as on your own hard drive, except the content is on CD and may eventually be run in D, E, or F drive.

Use "/index.html" to point to the lowest level of your files on the CD. Or you can point up to "images/myPic.jpg" or "../images/myPic.jpg" or ../images/myPic.jpg" depending on the level of the page displaying the link.
