"Page by View" is a
Copysafe system developed for those who need to protect only a few images/pages without the expense of purchasing the software or going through the learning curve associated with new technology. For example an artist on a free hosting service such as Geocities can use only a few pages in PBV for their special content/artworks and simply link those pages from their usual web site.

You can upload and protect all JPG and GIF files of good quality (not over compressed). You can also use animated Gifs, however not all types may work as some animators create blank space between the frames that is emphasized by encryption. But if in doubt, simply do a test.

Copysafe PBV works from an online web page, thus removing the necessity to download and learn how to use the encryption program, which is a big learning curve to anyone not at least familiar with html.
After establishing your account online, you simply select the image from your hard drive, nominate some settings that you wish to use such as background colors, status bar
messages, image frame, title, image description, and the links to return to your normal web site. When you have made your selections, the image is encrypted by our server and placed onto a page linked to your account.

Copysafe secure! THE ORIGINAL IMAGE IS NOT KEPT ON THE SERVER. The image files stored on the PBV server are encrypted for use on the PBV site only and are completely secure. From your admin page you alter each image setting and add unlimited content for product descriptions and other images, You can also add and configure a "buy button" for

Does the purchased PBV account act differently than the trial?
Specifically I am interested in knowing if we can remove some of the
Copysafe links and images from the image display page, is this possible with the full blown PBV version?

You must be thinking of Copysafe Pro.
Copysafe PBV is different and is the online version allowing visitors to upload directly from their hard drive.
The PBV demo is the same package as what you will receive from us and is fully configurable. PBV uses template inserts enabling the setting of: - Admin/site header - Admin/site footer - User page header (inc code for protection switches) - User page footer (inc code for protection switches)
Then individual account owners can also edit their own: - Overall header - Overall footer - Individual pages
