In regard to Macs, is the difference between ver. 2.1 and 3.0 that 3 can be used on a Mac to prepare images for uploading to the website, OR that only 3 prepared images can be viewed by website visitors using a Mac. This seems important since, although we use a PC, many of our artist friends have Macs.

Neither 2.1 or 2.2 are supported on Macs at all due to irregularities in Mac Java. Version 3.0 (Pro) includes a special module that we created to convert the images for use on Macs. Version 2.1 and 2.2 is still available to users not interested in Macs for a much cheaper price.

Version 3 (the Pro version) is fully supported in Mac, Linux and Windows browsers and the conversion program is also available in both Mac and Windows format. The produce from either format is supported in all browsers.
