The feature list for Secure Image includes "Encryption to protect cached images in the Temporary Internet Folder". Maybe a silly question, but does the encryption also work specifically for images in the Netscape cache, which I believe is in another location? .

It doesn't matter where cache is stored, the image is encrypted for use on the licensed site only. If reclaimed from cache (extremely difficult) it cannot be viewed.

Let's back up a minute. I thought "Temporary Internet Folder" referred to a folder on the VIEWER's machine, not the web server. Is this not the case?

Correct. Cached files are stored in the Temporary Internet Folder of your visitor's computer. Cached images are difficult to retrieve and Copysafe and Secure Image images are difficult for me to anyone because they are encrypted and outside of your registered applet viewer.

The default location in Win2000 for the Netscape cache is within "Documents and Settings" several levels down, but the location can be reset by the user.
Does this location exclude it from protection?
Again, perhaps a silly question, but I'm asking because the descriptive material specifically said that cached material in the Temporary Internet Folder was protected, leading me to think that perhaps the encryption worked only with MS Internet Explorer as opposed to other
browsers. Thanks in advance for your response.

It doesn't matter where the cache is because the images files being cached are ENCRYPTED!
