Firstly, are the images from before you registered the program? If so they will expire in 48 hours. This time period is allowed in the demo for testing and evaluation from a web site. You will need to encrypt your images using the registered version.
The 48 hour period is also in the registered version for checking content locally before uploading to your web site. After that time they can only be viewed from the registered web site, and will no longer be viewable locally.
Also check that the images are actually on the site that was registered. For example, if registered to www.myPics.com, they will not be visible from gallery.myPics.com. Check what your links are calling.
An odd problem found with some home page sites that come free with an email service is that while they may point your domain to what should be myPics.myHost.com, that the server actually uses a link like myHost.com/~myPics, in which case the
license will be invalid. It's best to get a real web site in the long run because if you change your ISP, you will lose the free home page anyway.

Well that's not very convenient. What if I take longer than 48 hours to finish the page designs before uploading??

Which would be more convenient?
1. Having more time to view the images locally even though you have already finished sizing and getting the image right; and no longer need to see them because it is only
tweaking of the other page content that still needs to be done... or
2. Having your site
visitors able to download your pages and images and run them from their own web site because there is no Domain Lock?
