Does your software work for dynamically generated images. E.g: if one of a multitude of images displays on a given page, will ZOOM work or does it work only with static images? .

Yes. You only need to load the image name. Applet width/height can be standard for your pics or you can also load the sizes.
I assume that your page loads from a template? If so, simply add the Zoom applet's parameters around your image field.
